Would it be out of place for a solo noob to run during this event?

I will be at both events. Can't wait to try out the new lot and the format looks really fun! I'm willing to do whatever I can as far as worker assignments.

There are no curbs and with the kart rules, we will be farther than normal from poles, etc.

Even if I don't have a ride I'll do the set up on the timing equipment and initial unloading and power set up. We do need to make sure the GAS CAN is filled and ready for use, last two events no gas can. Also I have in the past seen a set of bleachers that sat close to the top side of the lot. Poss since we still have time we might want do a site recon. Will we paddock on the pond side and come through the tunnel to grid? P.S. if Wayne Henry is looking find the guy from Alabama with that Miata cage chassis car or any one else that was around for MATG event.
