No this isn't necessary. We'll trust you to make sure your lugnuts are torqued the next day if you change tires.

[ jerk] If anyone has a working preference, please see me Saturday morning before the driver's meeting. No promises though, lol. I don't always read every thread and post on here, unless it's an official workers assignment thread for that particular event. [/ jerk]

Looking forward to the event!

Trying to get the vette ready to make a few shakedown runs. It won't be pretty, but hopefully I can get everything done on it next Friday afternoon and load up to leave out Saturday morning. Wish I had a passenger seat in the car as I wouldn't mind taking a few riders along with me.

I am sure most of you saw me walking :? the track on a bicycle a this weekend, I do this because my knee's are gone (full knee replacement this Dec.)
My question is, will it be alright for me to use it at this event? don't want cause any problems if I use it there.

The rule is if you can't "walk" the course, you can go around on a bike or something similar at a walking pace. In other words, no problem.

Will the non-member temporary membership fee be charged for this event? If so, how much?

No, you can take it home and do the engine swap. Tires will be marked and you will receive your arm band. Your crew can register that nite or there will be a list at entry to the site on Sat morning. No one gets on the site without either being on the list or paying the parking/spectator fee.

I do need some ride-a-long volunteers. Essentially after you have made your SCCA class runs, you would then take paying guests for rides. A great way to get some track time and promote SCCA. It is my plan to take riders from the beginning but I will need other drivers to step up and volunteer your car, time and tires for a few runs. At $10 per run, UW can make a lot of money off this thrill ride.
I will post on the general index as a new thread.

I would be willing to take a few people along. ( one at a time of course ) :)

My call looks like a rolling SCCA autocross billboard anyway
