Class question

Post by justwannagofast »

Hey everyone, sorry I'm sure there is a place to look this up, but I figured someone could tell me real fast what class I would be in...

Stock 08 BMW 335i, only mod is the JB4 software.

Thanks!! :)

I'm guessing the JB4 software is a computer re-flash? If so, that would put you in 'STU' class.

Unless it increases boost levels, then you are on to *SP...I would assume BSP. The 335 i is a turbo car, right?

^ This. STM if you don't care about classing. It's our catch-all, anything-goes on street tires (140 treadwear or above).

335i is turbo, his is the N54 TT. JB4 ups stock boost levels, so the "real"/national class would be ASP, just like the STI/Evo.

The JB4 indeed raises boost levels.... best $600 I've ever spent ;) Anyway, I guess since I don't "care" about classing I'll just go with STM then. I really just want to run it. I wish I didn't have the damn run-flats on it at the moment, but it should still be fun. As long as the weather doesn't suck I'll be there. Thank you everyone for your input, I appreciate it!!

Oh I know! I've autocrossed before, it's just been a while. Last time I ran the white 96 Cobra with a Vortech.. it was fun but handled like a pig... Now I finally have something that does everything well, so I'm really looking forward to it :)

I've discovered that advertising you blow up motors has an adverse effect on people's willingness to give you codrives.

Have you ever driven your Camaro? I don't think any of us have ever seen it.
