Registration - Bring your SCCA Membership Card!

If you do not show your SCCA Membership card when checking in for registration at the trailer, you will not qualify for the member registration fee. This policy has always been in place, but due to some unfortunate incidents, we are going to have to be very strict with it.

"I forgot it." is not a valid excuse.

Also, we cannot track funds from event to event, so "Can I get my money back if I show it next time?" = No.

Additionally, the registration team does not have time to go online to verify your membership. If you can do this via your smartphone, fine, but it's not the responsibility of the registration team.

Again, no card = you will be charged the non-member (weekend membership) fee.

Thank you for your understanding. Please put your membership card in your car/wallet NOW!

I'm new so if my question has already been asked I'm sorry but if you register and pay online how do you prove that and do you still need the card?

It will show up on our computer. We can tell who has payed online and who hasn't. Generally speaking, you won't need to show your card unless you don't pay online.

When you register on MSR as a member, it calls out to the SCCA member database. If your membership will not be active on the event date, you can't register as a member. But, we reserve the right to ask for a card at any time. I've caught a few people trying to pull one over on us throughout the years.

I want to do a few events this year and knock off some rust - it's been a while since I have been out. Please clarify the following:

The SCCA fee is $70/year?
An ETR event as a SCCA member is $45?
An ERT event as a nonmember is $65?
Are these values correct?

I ask because I don't remember paying anywhere near $50 an event in the past, even as a SCCA member, and just want to confirm those fees are correct. The thought of dropping $130 for 12 passes (2 events, 6 passes per event) seems higher than I recall. I do not plan to do anymore than 2-3 events this year, so I am weighing the pros/cons of a SCCA membership. If memory serves me correctly, the difference between a member and non-member was $5/event, not $20.

Thanks in advance!

The prices above are correct, with perhaps the SCCA Memebership fee. I believe that's either $75 or $85 (which will include your $15 regional dues).

The delta from member to weekend (non) members has been $15 for quite a few years now. It went up to $20 this year because national office increased the cost.

The SCCA member fee right now is $65 plus $15 ETR dues this will go up $5 March 1st.

Member $45
Weekend $65
Yes they are correct

All sites have raised fees for 2017 Pellissippi had us spoiled with low site costs.

If you plan on 3 it's better to become a member I can send you a discount packet email me teametr@charter.net

Thanks for the feedback. Will all sites be the $45/$65 fee?

Also, I think I have participated in only 1 event in 5 years - is 5-6 runs still pretty standard?
