Thanks all.

I was really looking forward to a chance to be social and get outside and enjoy the weather, especially since I couldn't make it out last week.

Steve, while we've never met.... my condolences to you... family comes first as always.

I see that Lin had alot of cones jump out in front of her. I hate that. Luckily she was able to get a clean run on that last run. I stopped watching/checking after the 3rd run, forgetting that the match tour setup is different.

Go get those girls tomorrow , Lin!

the results page hasn't updated since 2 something, so I've not seen what Mark has done.

I'm still learning the names of the ETR group, so anyone else post up who did what?

I coned away all my runs, lol. I was only a tenth off James on my fastest run and it was a silly cone that was easily avoided.

The course is a lot faster than it walked and is really fun. I'll have videos up tomorrow.

that's the important thing... YOU were there.

Too many local drivers don't go to national events regardless how they "know" they will end up.

congrats!

I'm still waiting on the results for the shootout. Maybe those get posted after the whole thing is done.

fun course, good event. good to see everyone out there again.. I was consistent.. and consistently not-fast-enough at that: day 1 - 44.4xx, 44.4xx, 44.2xx day 2 - 44.4xx, 44.2xx

Car had a 43.8 in it if I woulve been braver in the first slalom and less-brave in the last left hander. coulda-woulda-shoulda. Would have been gratifying to scare Jason and Geoff in dry/fast conditions.

I got my first class win at a National event but then blew the challenge in the first round - no front grip on the first run and then coned my 2nd run early to ruin my chances. Kieran had several spins but had a blast hanging out with Trey, so he ultimately agreed that the 8 hour drives were probably worth it. :)

I'm not exactly happy with the way they arranged the Match format. If you get in the top 32 on day one, you then wait for around 24 hours to run again. Meanwhile the folks who didn't make it on day one get the last-chance qualifier runs early on day two, then if they make it they run again before the top 32. My comments will be submitted to the National office today.

Dont think for one minute that some folks dont sandbag on day one... especially if they know they are not winning any contingency money in class... I know my co driver got accused of it once or twice.. lol
