I flushed my radiator yesterday...the stud for the thermostat housing broke off in the engine! Had to drill it out and reverse drill it at midnight last night. But, the truck is good to go! I saw on their website it says "Free Overnight Camping" but is that good for tonight or after the track day? I assume that's any day. We are leaving here around 5:30pm and camping out down there, whether at the track or Wal-Mart parking lot.

Well, my car is finally ready for this thing...new tires, brakes, fluid, etc. Now if I can just manage to get up that early. I will be joining I-75 prob at the Sweetwater exit, hwy 68, hopefully about the time y'all are coming by. I will be towing so hope I can keep up.

Well, thanks to Bradley setting this thing up, we had a great track day at TGPR. This was my first time doing a track day, but I think most everyone in attendance would agree it was well worth the money. I got in 8 sessions that averaged 15 minutes each, and my trip meter shows that I drove 103 miles around the track. If anyone is on the fence about doing something like this, it seems that TGPR is a good place to give it a try. Hopefully Bradley will put another one together before too long.

It was definitely a fun event!

The E30 performed really well. We got 2 hours of track time in (on one tank of fuel) and nothing broke, so I'll call that a success.

I forgot to bring my camera with me, so if anyone has any pictures of the E30 on track, I'd love to see them.

Also, Keith, do you have the footage of Joe going off in turn 2 in the Mustang? I'd like to get a copy of that so I can show all of our co-workers

Agreed that it was a fun event, no real "incidents" (ignoring the gps mishap, sorry, hehe), weather was good, everyone got their fill because by 4pm there was no one else wanting to run. The staff was fantastic and ensured we had the maximum track time possible. I have go-pro video from my dash and should have pictures of everyone except people in the same group as me. If you want pics let me know and I will send them to you. I will post a few here just for fun.

again Bradley, thanks for this opportunity, me, and my co-driver had a blast. i learned a lot, survived a loose/bad connection on a cam position sensor, burned a tank and a half, and ate up a set of 180 treadwear tires. an awesome day.when do you think we can plan the next event seriously though, anyone that was thinking about going, you should next time, bang for buck, you won't get better a better experience. and i'll take any pics of me, sean mcdonald, and roy sheely. i will distribute from there if you want
