Car Classification

Post by JOHN226 »

I recently bought a new car and i'm having a hard time figuring out where it goes. Its a Nissan 370z coupe (non-nismo) Looks like C class. So right now CS is the go to, but what about CSP or ST classes? Moutons doesn't make it that clear. I used to run STM, but I don't think it was a national class back then. Is it now? I won't be running on A6s, so I'm apprehensive to get back into stock class racing again. Thoughts? Advice?

CS - It's a good car for the class. CS is now C Street. So, you go buy yourself a set of Hankook RS3's and have fun. No more R's in stock.

STM is local only.

Street Class, what a genius decision. Never understood R-comps on a all but stock car  Thats great because I've been thinking some RE-11s based on what I've read for their ability to wear well on a daily driver. I ran NT05s when they 1st came out and loved them, but even on stock camber, they only lasted 9,000 miles. From what I've seen RS3s seem to be the quickest. Need to think on it some more though

As long as it's 200+ treadwear. You really have three choices RS3, BFG Rival, Dunlop Direzza

Welcome back! The 370z is pretty competitive in C-Street on a national level too. You've got rx8s, brz/frs, NC miata, and few others you'd normally run against.

Might be worth mentioning if you're looking at wheels. You can do +/- 1" wheel diameter in "Street" so that can help tire choice and pricing.

I would like to run RS3s, but I would have to reconsider my tire sizes quite a bit. Their 18" sizes aren't quite right for my sizes and I don't want to run a square setup on my DD. Looking at the calculator, I could get close to the 18 tire's factory OD so we shall see. Need to kill these 460 tread wear Dunlops that are on it first
