TSD Rallying near(ish) to East TN?

I've been reading up and researching TSD rallying and even though it's a bit pedantic I love the idea of it. I know ETR isn't involved with it, but are there any regions/events in the surrounding area that do? Maybe some NC chapters, Mid/West TN or KY?

I don't know of any in surrounding areas. It seems to mainly have a following in the northeast. That said, we have done a TSD/gimmick rally in the past. I have also written one when I was in college. I think doing another one would be fun.

Karl Rickert did one last year down towards Chattanooga, and also Huntsville did one in the past year. Both said they will do them again this fall so keep an eye out for em.

That sounds really fun, but I would want to do it in something classic or obscure. I feel like having a modern car in it would be somewhat dull.

It could be not dull in a Miata with possible charging issues...

You make a valid point. My Great Uncle has an old 34 Ford with a flat head in it. I could try and persuade him. I believe the mille Miglia is starting to go to a TSD style of race. Having a large group of classic cars not sitting in a parking lot is something I would be interested in.
