Need a quick machinist job done

I need to have something simple (I think), made out of stainless steel (304 or 316).

It is a 3.5" disc with a 0.5 inch hole in the middle with a collar (see pics). It would be best if it could be made as a single piece and the material only needs to be thick enough to be relatively rigid (not flop around). The collar needs to fit into a plastic piece that I have (consider it a tube) fairly tightly, but I don't think any crazy precision will be needed here. These measurements are rough, I'll make more precise measurements if I can find someone to turn it.

Any idea where I could get this done (pretty cheaply?).

Thanks

There's not much quick, cheap or easy about machining stainless.

Can you make this work? It's as cheap as that sort of thing will get...

I agree. Stainless is rough to work with. Look and see if you can substitute 303 stainless. It's much more machining friendly (but not welding friendly).

Did you model that in Rhino?

McMaster-Carr is a good place to buy the material. Looks like you can buy a stainless blank in 3.5" diameter at 1/4" or 1/2" thick for about $20.

Thanks everyone!

Aaron, yes it was Rhino3D.

Jim, I'll be in touch.

I've found some blanks on ebay for $7. I'm going to get a few of those.

I see we are building things here,What would it take to get shock top hats with two more inches of travel made or reworked for an NA. JB machined some for his car when he worked at the race shop. Or could mine be cut and spliced on so I can use a bump stop. Ones I have now limit the drop on the car and I need a half inch more.Thanks. (oh I have koni)
