I have been building this car for the past 2 years now and its been a lot of fun. Would love to have local feedback and parts resources for some of the things I have been doing lately.

While some of you are losing weight and trying to stay within intake rules I'm over here adding weight and pressurizing my intake. lol

Sounds like some of you have some really fun projects over the winter. If you have time Disney, or maybe even a Mod could create a new topic.

I see the problem you have there... exhaust restrictions are troublesome....

I think if we would have access to a lift and pay ten bucks an hour for the lift time that would be great. And we need to bring our own tools to work with.I know If the lift area would have a few air tools for rent to speed up the lift time that would be great. NOW Who has a place for this?

^To make that work, it has to cost way more than $10/hr. I think it works better in bigger cities, too.

10" SVT knockoffs with 315's is the plan unless something better comes along

I got mine running and driving today, still working out some of the 100+ KPa stuff in my tune as well as fuel enrichment for tip in. Still have to get the electronic boost controller and my injectors cleaned.

Solid motor mounts are retarded and my ears are still ringing just driving it over to Lucas's house. No way is it going to pass sound currently. Going to have to fab up an exhaust for it.

Check it out. I'll put more video up later when I'm not fighting with Megasquirt and drivability improves.

I'm in tire research mode... Looks like the RE-71R are pretty good, but they don't really the right sizes for either set of wheels :(.

I've heard several similar complaints about the RE-71R. What size are you looking for?

If you are looking for STM, look at the Federal 140tw tire. Also, Yokohama makes a really good 180tw tire. Don't remember the exact models.

Currently on one set of wheels are F225/45R16 and R245/4017 R888s, on the other, F225/45R15 and R245/45R16 A6s. Thanks for the ideas Mark, the Federal RS-R look interesting and sizes are close.

Bradley, what about Rival-S?
225/45ZR15
215/45ZR16
225/45ZR17
245/40ZR17
255/40ZR17

orrr Kumho V720?
225/45R15
225/50R16
215/45R17
225/45R17
235/45R17
245/40R17
255/40R17

I believe both of those tires would be faster than a RSR or AD08r and you're definitely a good enough driver to maximize that difference as well.
