RE - Mark Pilson
Treasurer - Scott Gibson
Secretary - Lin Cox

Board Members:
Jeff Cox
John Brown
Dave Yoder

Thank you to all that voted. Every one of the candidates received a decent amount of votes and the board member race was pretty close. Congrats to the 2016 leadership.

Congrats Officers and Board Members 2016

I’d like to thank all of you who voted in this year’s election. It’s been a rewarding first two years with ETR. It's been a great learning experience as well the satisfaction passing along what I’ve learned to others. I look forward joining the team in 2016. I hope to see our region flourish with some of the best organized events around, and make your event day safe and FUN for everyone.

I vow to build a wall around PSTCC, and make Mexico pay for it. See you all in 2016.

just out of curiosity .. how many voted ? and how does it compute as to % of membership ? how many members do we have ?

Turnout was typical for a presidential election. In other words, not much.

So I'm totally fine with outcome. But being new to this group, do I interpret that as a majority vote. I guess I should read bylaws? By the way thanks for all your hard work Mark. Maybe in next meeting could we give a rundown of # of current members. Positive or negative gain. Just a newbie asking.

that's kinda what I was asking ... not wanting to know WHO voted, but how many voted, and what % that is of membership, and how many members we have

I dont know the membership numbers off the top of my head, but I think about 10% voted.

thanks ... it's my impression that we're a fairly small region ... and my other region is maybe twice or three times as large ... of course they don't get all that many to vote either ... 40 - 50 ... something like that

Walt....I can give you some ruff numbers if that will help you.

805 total Members on MSR
253 of them are APPROVED SCCA members current valid card
454 are listed as NEW (maybe someone can explain why this number is high) many are from other regions.
98 listed as INACTIVE

This should be what your looking for ....I believe voting was limited to ETRSCCA MEMBERS ONLY not people from other regions of which we have 174 members with East Tennessee Region as the region of record on file. While I did my best to get the message out via posting both forum and Facebook more then once. I will be addressing issues like this in the future and try to get more participation from our members.

283 are paid members of ETR. Those other numbers I believe are/were weekend participants. Many only came to one event. Eligible to vote would be the 283. I only have access to current member files, and we had 85 new members in 2015. There is some churn each year, some new and some leaving. A few years ago, I remember the total number to be something like 220. Many of our members are retired road racers and are not very active. Also many are part of family memberships.

thanks ... yes, this is all I was wondering about ...just numbers in general, best guesstament ... etc ...

and can't you be members of several Regions and vote in each ? supposedly my vote with ETR & CCR counted with each
