Damn. Really expected to see him at an event or at a LeMons race this year. So sad, but glad he's not suffering through the cancer any longer.

We were without words to hear this today. Thought for sure to see him doing what we all love on March 13.
Walter was one of the first guys we met when we came down to race 3 years ago. We will miss him and think of him often.

I just got off the phone with Mike Burke.We had a great conversation about Walter.Mike will post the upcoming info when he gets it. He is hoping Walters mom will go to live with his brother or sister in NC as she can not live alone. We did agree the VA sucks! We also agreed that if Walter wanted to help you then he did.He was the first person I got to know at my first event,he told me things to do. I did those things and won my class at my first event.I will never forget the mentor of fun and skill. RIP Walter.Ya ole Goat.
