New to ETR SCCA

Hi

Been in the area for about 18 months, but now working remote so I can come and join in the fun.
Own a 2012 370Z Sports Package, added Nismo Sway bars / Nismo type rear wings and the biggest Michelin Pilot Super Sports that i could put on it
Front 265/35 19 / Rear 305/30 19
which puts me in ASP...

I have autocross off and on through the years, still have a problem with the right foot, go go go, opps have to slow now. Been working on that for some time. I hear seat time is the key, so I hope to get a lot of it this year.

Looking in meeting the group.

I do have a question, how do I change my SCCA Region to ETR.

David. ...first welcome aboard. I know for sure if you call SCCA they will change it for you. You will probably need to pay ETR membership fee... $15 ...I think...Hope to see you at the next event.

Welcome! If you find a lack of competition in ASP you can always come into STM as long as your tires are 140tw or higher. It's one of the more popular classes locally since the rule set is so open, so finding competition isn't hard.

I had my region switched a few years ago, had to actually call SCCA to get it done, but I don't remember having to pay the region fee twice. If i remember correctly I just paid into the different region at my time of renewal.

so many classes, I thought STM that for a 370Z, it had to be only 18 inch wheels or was that STX...
well the tires are 300tw, so that will work, just have to get a 'TM" have the S and the numbers...
I will see if I can get that by the 1st event.

planning on coming for the 1st event, just want to be able to have fun and abuse the car...

STM is a pretty competitive "unlimited" class where the ONLY rule is having 140+ tw tires. The main benefit over ASP is that it has way more people running in it.
