In the words of Robert Carpenter, "No fucking way!" How long has it taken you to sell that thing?

A little over two years. To sell a specialized car, you need a specialized buyer. There aren't a lot of us left that see the value in an early Scirocco FSP car.

I wish I had the tools and technical skills to maintain a car like that. I just never learned how to work on cars beyond fluid changes and filter. Hell, I can't even change the plugs on my car- you can't get to them  anyway, that would be an awsome car to have. 8)

It just takes some time, tools, and books. You would be surprised how far VisschusVW has come since he first started autocrossing.

Yup, I was tired of paying some else to screw up my car repairs... figured worse I could do is screw it up for free. but then, I built scale models for years, R/C airplanes, raced R/C cars, etc.. full sized cars just had bigger parts.
