FS: EVGA NVIDIA GTX 760 Video Card $100

Post by disneyd »

Thought someone here might be interested in this for iRacing. It is a year old card and is like new. There are better/faster cards out now (I just upgraded) but it is still a pretty fast video card.

Man, if it was an AMD card, I'd buy it and cross-fire them. Good price.

Do you know what the minimum power supply needed is?

I'd say 550. I have 650 and have a very similar card. My PSU is the main reason I haven't upgraded mine. Although when I start upgrading, i think I will switch everything to intel and nVidia, so it's basically a complete rebuild.

BTW, I bet this card will run 3 monitors.

Yes, my power supply is my limiting component.

Curse you Disney! That's the exact same SLI compatible video card that I already have sitting next to an open PCI-E slot in my iRacing PC.

Not a bad price on the card. I am using a GTX 780 in my rig and it's holding out well in games like Battlefield 4, Company of Heros 2, Project Cars, Dirt rally, and even old titles like Age of Empires 2 and Civ 4.

At modest resolution (1680x1050) I see frame rates in the 50-200 fps range depending on title and settings (No AA in BF4, but everything else maxed). The card can't support the newer 4k stuff and would probably have an issue going triple monitor for a racing sim, but a decent sized single monitor gaming rig on a budget, this card is your huckleberry.
