2006 ETR Solo II School

03/23/06 - 11:04AM

Students and Workers - We will not be able to get inside the Adesa lot until 8AM on Saturday morning. Meaning that the gates will not be open until then. Students, plan to be at the gate at 8AM sharp.

Attention! School location and dates have changed. If you are unable to make the new date, please let me know via PM and we will send you a full refund. If you are not a student, please keep an eye on the thread, I will bump it whenever a spot opens.

I am very sorry for this, but the MECO facility has been hit hard with production demand and the parking lot is in use for the next 2 months 24/7.

Please remember to cancel any hotel reservations you have made in the Greenville area.

The good news is that ADESA will allow for a much better school and Robert carpenter will also be able to make the new date. Additionally, the more centralized location will allow you to save money rather than spending it on a hotel room. If you live far enough away from Lenoir City that you would need a hotel, let me know. I have room for 2-3 on the floor here in North Knoxville.

Location - ADESA lot in Lenoir City, TN (tire friendly pavement)

Please arrive early (~8AM) to get your car ready to go. Generally, there is a short classroom type session before we start running.

The actual school will be Saturday March 25, 2006. Sunday March 26 will be a non-points event run just like any other autocross only available to students and workers of the event - aka "Test N 2oon" Expect a crap-ton of seat time. This will include both days and free lunch on Saturday.

Worker Info

We will need about 10-15 workers for the school. If you work on Saturday, you will get to run for free on Sunday. Don't expect to do anything on Saturday except work. You can also look forward to some general shenenigan's that Saturday night! And lots of good stories if we get everyone drunk enough. Hotel should be within walking distance.
