Plz take note and follow the time schedule for Solo 2 events

At the request of our grid chief and worker chief as well as to make events run smoother overall this year, we are going to be following the timeline for registration/tech very closely.

Best advice: SHOW UP EARLY
Not only will you avoid all of this crap below, you will also have a TON more time to focus on driving and course-walking!!!

NOTICE: Please observe the following timetables for our events. If you don't get through registration and tech in the timeframe given below, you will not be able to run. The simple way to avoid problems is to arrive early.

For Events at Walters State, Smokies Stadium, Meco, and Adesa:

Meco events are NO SMOKING anywhere on the event site. This is at the lot owner's request. Anyone with a lit cigarrette will be asked to put it out or leave.

We highly recommend you arrive around 8:00 a.m.
The course should be set up so you can walk it around 9:00 a.m.
If you register online, you have until 10:00 a.m. to check in with Registration
If you register on-site, you should do so by 9:00 a.m. If you register after that time, you will be charged a $15 late fee.
No registrations or check-ins will be accepted after 10:00 a.m.. Tech will also close at 10:00 a.m..
If you have not registered and been tech'd by 10:00 a.m., you will not be able to run the event, No Exceptions.
Mandatory driver's meeting at 10:30 a.m. sharp.
First Car Off at 11:00 a.m.

For Events at William Blount High School:

We highly recommend you arrive around 9:00 a.m.
The course should be set up so you can walk it around 9:00 a.m.
If you register online, you have until 11:00 a.m. to check in with Registration

With this said, we understand that s*** happens. If you are running late, we understand that. To be perfectly honest, if it's close (5-10 min), we may let you slide. However, if we've already printed the grid and run/work order papers, you will definitely be charged the late fee.
