Nominations for 2008 Officers/Board

Post by whenry »

Nominations are now open for the 2008 Officers and Board of Directors. Please check with the person whom you are nominating for permission and then make the nomination. Nominations will close on October 2, 2007(the date of the October Board meeting). Positions available are:
Regional Executive
Secretary
Treasurer
Board of Directors(5 positions)
The only requirement is that you are a member of SCCA and ETR in good standing. Let the nominations begin......
I also posted this thread on the general index and included instructions on how to make the nomination. Essentially get the nomination to me prior to October 2 by any reasonable means except the Ernest T Bass mail service.

I have posted the nominations for the 2008 Board and Officers on the General Discussion thread. Please review. We will be sending out ballots shortly after the nominees have complied with the Ethics Code disclosures. Anyway, we have more nominees than positions so we will be having an election in 2007.

yeah, I wasnt worried about the Open Meetings implications but the Ethics Rules are new and different. All that you have to do is to disclose any business or personal interests that might benefit financially from your involvement with ETR-SCCA. In other words, sponsorships or golf outings from Big Business.
