Cookeville?

Post by wvonkessler »

I don't know whether Cookeville HS has been used by you guys. There is a portion of an old airfield there. See http://www.airfields-freeman.com/TN/Airfields_TN_E.htm

The site in Greene County is a bit narrow for autocross. The other two sites are outside our region.

Thanks for looking.

Tusculm Airport has been a residential street for about 40 years now. There are houses going down both sides with a soccer field at one end. It's the widest street in Greene County, but it is a street.

I was referencing Putnam. I just figured Cookeville was in your region, since its not that far from Knoxvegas. Maybe you could ask the Tennessee region if you could use it. I know the Chatt region got permission from them to run a time trial at Nashville Super Speedway.

hmmm...I was just about to post this exact link.

Would be closer or about the same as bristol for most of us.

Nashville will never use it......wonder what we can work out.
