One huge lot in Hawkins Co. near Greeneville

Post by CABoegemann »

Our newest member, Heather, has found the grand daddy of them all. It's on highway 66 near Bulls Gap, not far from I-81. It looks like they are installing scales or something for big trucks, so we may never get to use it. I'll start investigating.

How big? It's a lot bigger than Elizabethton as it sits now and they are still adding on. HUGE. Right now there are no poles or islands at all. Just one "thing" that looks like it will be truck scales.

If anybody wants to check it out:
1. Get off I-81 at exit 23 (Greeneville/Bulls Gap)
2. Go towards Bull Gap
3. Go right at the only light.
4. It's just a couple miles down highway 66 (towards Rogersville) on the right.

I went by today and the hole in the ground is a big truck scale. They are already putting trailers in it. On the good side, they just keep making it bigger. I'd say somebody got a contract with the Wal-Mart distribution center down the road.
