I know it is impossible, but I was there yesterday, and holy crap, it is huge with no light poles or anything. Some place like that would be cool.

We've been down this road before. I think we even had an event scheduled for there at one time. I can't remember why it fell through though. Maybe Mr. Gibson or Mr. Dillow can remember.

It fell through because of road construction, if I remember correctly.

This site was suggested by the Smokies Mkt. Dir. recently and I want to talk with Dillow again. It is an overflow lot for Dollywood but as I understand is for the most part unused after the middle of September.

Definitely worth checking out again. As I recall, we couldn't use it in the past because they were parking construction equipment there. I also remember that there was a very small window of availability for the site, it might be hard to schedule but would probably be worth it.

Debbie may have a connection thru the Dollywood Imagination Library. I'll have her check to see who is facility mgr, etc. Maybe we could do it as a promotional benefit?

Bump on this one. It's getting to be the downtime up there between summer and holidays. If we just got a couple of events per year there, it would help

Also, there was a splash country thread but I couldn't really find it.
