From what I hear in Elizabethton, the high school would be happy to have us there again. Any reason for not taking them up on it? Perhaps I'm not hearing from the right people?

We might run there in a pinch, but we won't do another Bridge Festival thing, I don't think.
There are too many poles on that lot. It's tough to get a smooth course going.

I'm working on that as we speak. I hope we'll have 2 events there this year. My event in November and possibly McMarks in July. I'm supposed to know something by the next Solo Meeting. It's a pretty good lot. The poles and one drain are the main drawbacks, but the surface is a lot like Adesa. Oh, and it's a 11.5 hour drive for Tony.
Edit: Not part of the covered Bridge Celebration.

There was a light pole hit at the last EHS event, but ironically it wasn't in the lot. I've been looking at the the drawing and measurment I made last year and I think we can make a course that flows better than the one we had. The poles are almost 200 feet apart. It wouldn't be cart friendly.

As an added bonus, there's a new Fat's and Applebee's right across the street from it now.

Just a minor setback for a car guy. That car was as good as new a month later. Seen it myself.

Yeah, several people thought that was me. At the following event I kept hearing "wow, you got your car fixed fast!"
