Hardin Valley High School

Has anyone looked into this one? I think they are supposed to open their doors for next year. I haven't been by there, so I don't know if its even got a suitable lot, but I wouldn't care to drive by there if it hasn't been considered yet.

When I went by the place, it was too early to tell.

Here's their webcam...

It is always worth a look but most modern zoning/planning rules require islands and trees for drainage and greenspace. Nice to look at but the types of things that make a large lot useless for SCCA purposes.

I took the Miata out for a little cruise on Saturday and checked this lot out. There is one lot near Hardin Valley that seemed to be about ORM size, fresh black top. However, there were some light poles on this lot.

There were 2-3 other lots closer to the school building, but it was difficult to tell their size due to the construction equipment. All of the lots are separated by islands, so there wouldn't really be a way to link the lots together without giving the stewards a heart attack.

I didn't have my camera with me, but the school is still under construction.
