FWIW this was my favorite auotcross site within an hour of K-town. The liklihood of making all of the 09 events is still pretty low for me, but I'd make it a priority to attend events at Adesa.

I was at work today and met a gentleman named Bruce that works part time at Adesa. I expressed our interest in the site and he seemed to think that they would be grateful to have the additional income since they are so slow. I gave him my card to give to the manager. Hopefully we might be able to have some luck. Who knows.

As bad as I consistently was on that surface for some reason, I would really welcome running there again.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news here but dont expect much in results. We lost Adesa mainly due to corporate decisions, not local. It is probably worth asking again but...........

Yeah, I didn't realize until about a year ago how huge Adessa is. I thought it was just a local auction site. But they're international and one of the largest auto auction corporations in the world. So, like Wayne said, more than likely won't happen, but I've got my fingers crossed because that was my favorite site by far.

With the economic turndown, you think they might be open to this now? I really liked Adesa.

Ya know since they are doing so poorly and never busy. They could use us as a spectator attraction to attract buyers. Anyone I've ever met at a car auction was a 'car buff'. So it just makes sense. And being a SCCA sanctioned event we have the insurance to cover our being there. So if someone who is better with words than I am would care to contact the local or national office to discuss this, it would be much appreciated. Plus this could get our little group some national attention,

Anyway here is the contact info.
