Is that the site Robert was talking about in the Solo forum? ((The Phil E. Keith Training Center and Don Jones driving track on Cement Plant Road in Knoxville, TN.???)))

Both the Police Chief and the Director of the facility say "no" to outside use and specifically cite the Porsche Club. I thought that I had an in and Dave Yoder has been working on this for several years but it aint gonna happen anytime soon.

How about if all Porsches (including all cars with boxer style engines) are banned from events there?

x2.

I figured with the economy, some places might be looking for some extra money....same with Adesa. If Adesa goes under, I think someone here (or a group) should buy it and turn it into an awesome lot that's useable 7 days a week!

I saw that last night. Looks nice. I've got bolt cutters. We could run our own night series there!

I don't know who coined the phrase, but generally, it's a bad way to live. I wish I could stop.

I figure that the Porsche comment comes from past experiences with the group. SCCA had a good history with KPD due to the Dogwood GP but that was several years ago and a prior administration.

I say we hire a PI to follow the Chief with a camera, a picture is like a million words to someone on "our" payroll

Is there any way to get some of these owners of the sites we find to talk to the higher ups at places like PSTCC and WSTCC just so they know we have a good reputation? Alot of times its good to hear from those that are letting you use their sites and let the new ones hear it for themselves.

I think we use some of the referrals when trying to get a site but could be incorrect.

Why do they have to be like that? It's not like we're a bunch of no respect hooligans or something.
