Well, I went out and took a look at the lot finally. Looks like very old pavement that's been worn smooth over time and sealed many times. There are lots of cracks running all over the lot with grass growing up through them. The biggest lot has 6 light poles spaced pretty evenly through the middle of the lot. The smaller lot has 3 poles. Here's a few pics.

Did you happen to drive across it at speed to judge the bumpiness? I am in stock class this year so it doesn't matter to me, but there are other cars that would make a difference with.

Right, I think we should bear in mind that beggars can't be choosers to some extent. I say as long as there are no car-breaker bumps (ala smokies stadium) we should issue mouth guards as necessary and go for it.

I'd say it's usable. I didn't do any driving over 15 mph but the cracks all seemed smoth enough. I would class it about a step or two above the Rockwood lot.

You talking about the old Walmart parking lot? If so then that sounds good.

Cracks like that generally aren't too bad in my experience.

It is surface changes like Smokies and ripples like Bristol that suck and tend to break stuff.

As long as those cracks are sealed in a way to where tires wouldn't chunk up the pavement... it looks fine for use to me.

They have an annual car show there and I believe do free muffler installs on borla purchases during the show.

If you have a line, or want to try to get us in there, then please go for it and we can provide any information they need about the organization.
