Papermill Plaza

Post by rocracing2004 »

Hey I didn't know if anybody knew that the Papermill Plaza is closed and they have it roped up. I would think this lot would be a good lot to use for events and easy to keep people off while we are using the pavement. I don't know who we need to talk to but I would rather see us use this lot for our charity event than Chilhowee Park.

No where near large enough, even for the course - to say nothing of paddock, grid, & spectators.

is that where the Knox Furniture place was? I saw that last week... you sure thats not big enough? I didnt scope it out very well... and it would have to bend around the building, kinda like Outlets Mall did.

Based on Google map's scale, it's about 250' x 350' without the section next to the building. There might be enough pavement there to have a small course, but we would need to paddock and grid inside of the building. Spectators could hang out inside of the buildings in the little strip mall area.

If the AC is still on in all of those buildings, this is starting to sound like a good idea.

Too small. The drifters have been using the upper lot at chilhowee. I planned on talking with Yoder about that and seeing if we could put something together there. The pavement there is a lot more awesome.

I thought if we put grid on the South side of the building then we could use the North side for a course and have the whole front section oppen. Just trying to keep my eyes open. I don't even know the top lot you are talking about Chris but the only problem with using that bottom lot is that its bumpy.
