JB and I ran Escort GT's in ITA and were using 500# springs or higher on all corners. You needed the high rate to support the weight in the front and to make the car turn in the rear. Talk to the guys at Corksport and get their recommendations.

They've already been ordered in 10k F 8k R. I'll probably be doing some experimenting over time to see what I like, though.

I rode in a buddies car that has coilovers the other day, and that pushed me to go ahead and pull the trigger on the purchase. Felt so much more planted than my car.

Can't wait. M-Factory diff on the way, new Fortune Auto coilovers on the way, new 3" downpipe is here waiting, and then I just have to bring it to Asheville for a dyno tune. Seriously excited about cars again. It should be like a whole new car here in a couple months.

Diff came in today. Car goes to the shop Wednesday. Got a couple weeks to a month wait on the coilovers, but the car should be running and driving within the next two weeks. Hope to make it to at least a couple events this year. :? Shootin' for the Wild Bill Event, if not possible I may make it out there by Rife Attack 2012.

Car's in the shop. Should be back together by middle of next week. Then I'm off to Asheville for a dyno tune.

Coilovers should be here early-to-mid-June. They take 2-3 weeks to build with custom rates and valving. Hoping to get it done completely by July. Does anyone know where to take the car to get corner balanced?

Wow. Car is tuned. Coilovers are on. Amazing.

A lot of money, but it's not the same car anymore.
