out of curiosity - are we expecting these events to run particularly long?

I've got a flight at 5 oclock on saturday, and I'm gonna try to reschedule my morning flight on sunday to 5 oclock as well.. I figure as long as we're done before 5 i'll be able to make the short drive down the road in time.

I posted this event on some other regional boards and got asked about hotals. Do we have a agreement with any. If not what would be a good place. I have stayed at strawberry plains a few times and always liked them. Chad

Strawberry Plains or Merchants Road are the closest reasonable motels. The downtown hotels are a pricey alternative. I doubt that anyone you know will want to stay in any motel on Magnolia regardless of proximity. YMMV There is actually a very good and well-known restaurant on the corner(ie Dinners, Dives and Drive-ins)

I am for Sunday. Can't make it for the Saturday session. Never run there before and it has been way too long since I ran at my second home.

yeah, sorry I wasnt clear in my post. Those are the names of interstate exits. Merchants Drive is on I-75 North of downtown Knoxville. Strawberry Plains exit is East of Knoxville on I-40. Both have the usual spectrum of interstate motels.

Not to butt in on the where to stay topic but the area between Cedar Bluff exit and Campbell Station exit on I-40 seem to have the newer and poss better things to eat or do. Yea some might have to drive back or drive a further 15 or so minutes but it is worth it. More places to stay, eat, shop and a few close by auto parts places if you happen to need one. Tire shops too.

I'm looking forward to this. I have a few projects I want to undertake before Nationals and this will be a good "shake down" event. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
