With the most recent problem, you'd know it. One of the seals has blown leaving a puddle of oil under that corner of the car. I don't know what we could be doing wrong.

These cars are so low and have so little travel, that it is really hard to tell without looking/feeling.
With that said, the way I was griping about not getting the front to set on the run up the hill the last few locals (and how you noticed something similar when you drove the car) might have been a result of a dead shock.
I had Koni 3013's on my vette and used them all of 2010 and 2011 in all my races. Never had to touch them and no problems. Don't know why you guys are having such a hard time.

Call Marc Osgood. He is giving some sweet desks on MCS.

That's good because I'd need to spend a LOT of time sitting at a desk before I could buy shocks again.
thrdeye wrote:Koni is going to be onsite to rebuild shocks....is that an option for you guys?
Not really.
edit: We could do it, but it would be get there Sunday. Remove shocks. Skip $90 worth of Test & Tune. Get shocks to Koni. Hope they have the parts to fix them. Hope they get them done in time to get them on the car before we run Tuesday. Run car untested on unscrubbed tires.
I think that puts you on the wrong end of the Park. You would be better served to go to Magnolia Avenue and then go west to the Park. This year's event will be on the Midway side of the Park or the south side of Magnolia.
