SEDiv Divisional Solo2 Event #2 - June 18-19, 2005
Ok, looks like Chris and Ted decided to sign up but SM is still looking weak.
Time for the big TONY "THE TIGER" shoutout!! Surely the ruling big cat in SM is going to come down to Atlanta and show them some V8 horsepower. If you win in Atlanta and in Nashville, you might even end up with a jacket at the end of the year that says SM DIVISIONAL CHAMPION.

Shit - I told Tony he should go to TOPEKA. Compare what he a John Brown usually run, and then take a look at what Vic Sias and John Brow ran at Nats last year. Tony might not win natinally at SM, but he'd sure as hell piss off some people with $75,000 + cars....especially once the 315s are on the rustang.

Well, an M3 basically start at like $60,000 - so unless Tony did that 2 JZ swap he's been talking about, I think he has the less expensive machine.not cbring wrote:If Vic Sias only has the money in his car that he claims, Tony might have MORE money into his Mustang.
I guess owning a shop doesn't hurt.

Comparing class times at the Nationals is a very misleading task...thrdeye wrote:Shit - I told Tony he should go to TOPEKA. time between runs...days run...time in class at which you run make such a big difference.
To see that Bimmer chew up concrete will convince you "it is much faster than my little scrubbin bubble"

Anybody that says Vic has that in his car is full of SMit. I'd be willing to bet he started with a 325 or 318 (E36 chassis) and converted it.thrdeye wrote:Well, an M3 basically start at like $60,000 - so unless Tony did that 2 JZ swap he's been talking about, I think he has the less expensive machine.

Good point. SM ran in the rain on one day in 2004.John Brown wrote:Comparing class times at the Nationals is a very misleading task...

Sorry I haven't been stickin' my nose in this conversation......figured it was some technical thread about correct valve stem cap torque or something.
I just don't have the time, or just plain "want to" to drive 3 or whatever hours down to Atlanta to run around some cones. I'm just not into autox that bad I suppose. I like the local stuff, with the TRSCCA being about as far as I like to go.
I'll be content with running the 2-day National with the TRSCCA in late July.
As for the 315's on 10.5" rims.........looks like thats out the window with that tire being backordered 5million years or whatever.
