Hey Chris, I was a little confused regarding spectators from our monthly meeting.

If I decide to come by, will I be allowed in the fence?

I know that you are supposed to pay a fee to enter and park.

Once that happens will spectators be kept outside the fence with the vendors or bleachers? Or are people free to move around like they would at a typical event?

My understanding is competititors can bring in one crew member. I would think crew can come in and out wherever to assist with car. Spectators will stay outside the fence unless they pay for a ride along. I could be wrong but that is how I understand it

Ok, so I'm registered ( or will be in a minute ) and I'll have to pay on site (I'll bring exact change )

I won't be able to make it to the wal-mart tech session, but I will be able to get there plenty early for tech. That's how that works, right ( from reading the site ).

Let me know if I'm missing something.

Since I've never been to this site, and I see there's some talk about spectators, what is this site like? Sounds like there's vendors ( food and such?) , so is that accessible for them or do we have to pay extra to get in? Kim and Tyler will be coming as well so is there a flat "per car load" fee?

Sorry if it's there and I didn't see it, but I looked and was a little confused.

Let me try to explain:
There will be one crew member allowed plus the driver for each entry. so no additional fee
There will be $5 fee for each car(no matter the number of occupants) that enters the site.
Each person will sign the insurance waiver and receive the appropriate arm band. There will be multiple arm bands for entrants/crew, spectators and vendors.
Drivers and crew only will be permitted behind the fence. Otherwise guests will be limited to the spectator area.
There will be drive-alongs at $10 per ride. You will pay your fee and be escorted to the ride-along area. After the ride, you will exit the area. If you want to take another ride, another fee is due.
Please understand that this is a fund raiser for the United Way and we wouldnt be granted access to this lot without the UW so we need them to raise as much money as possible.
There will be vendors on site ie Petros and others. Please patronize these vendors.
Registration and Tech will occur on Friday nite at the Lenoir City Walmart. FREE Food and beverage will be provided. We are going to start at approximately 9:30am in order to get all of the activities in before we have to vacate the site. Chris will determine who can do late registration on Saturday. Hopefully most entrants will do registration and tech on Friday.
While there will be a designated paddock area, it will not be secure so please keep a watch on the area and help your other entrants out if you see suspicious activity. Do not leave valuable property out during the event.
I hope that this answers most everyone's questions.

As a specific answer to Rife's question, if you want inside the fence, you will need to register your car or find a registrant who has room on his or her crew list.

THanks for the clarification.

I'll be coming from PA, and won't be able to make it down there Friday for tech, so hopefully I can get teched in the AM. I am registered and I might be able to pay online before I leave to come down, but if not I'll be bringing cash.
