Feb.16th Z-Max Autox

Post by jcox07 »

It looks like the first good autox for 2013 is on Feb. 16th at Z-Max in Charlotte. It looks like Lin and I and JB are going. This is a good start to get ready for the first National in Cecil. The course is big and fast and most of all fun. Lets get a big group from etr to get the season started right and have a good time. This is a Sat. event and lots of food and bars right at the exit. If I can decide what I'm going to do for tires before this event I will most likely do it...

Really fun site.

I'd think about it if it were later in the season, and not on Saturday.

Sat's is pretty much the only day they can use the site ... since no race engines before noon on Sun ..... and the huge $$$$$ for the mandatory fire and rescue folk if they go over the specified time to finish ... it puts them on OT ... CCR can't justify the cost to try to run a Sun event ... and yeah Steve I understand that the shootout was a 2 day event ....

Yeah, I get that.... I was posting more to say that it is worth the trip, if it fits your schedule.
