LeMons legend Speedycop unveiled his mystery creation today at LeMons in New Jersey. Including livestream of the car being unveiled at tech and two racers running around in underwear and helmets yelling that they were on fire.

Re: The upside down race car
Chris, come with us to one race. After a weekend, you'll understand.
You, like me, likely won't have any interest in building/driving any of the terrible slow cars that SpeedyCop builds. But, you'll probably understand better why he and others do it. They're just completely ridiculous and really well-done works of somewhat abstract automotive art.
And hopefully you would see why we have so much fun driving a really fast (LeMons) car around all the slow ones. Being able to do a lot with very little is what gets me going.

I TOTALLY get the Geo and other similar low buck hotrods, but this thing and the airplane car....I just don't get why you get turned on by that sort of thing. So many hours for what?

I think it's all about the Party time, the you did what with what and many more things. And bring in the I just gotta get away from work. (more so if own your own work) and not to mention the photo's of your shitbox that were taken during the event just cause it looked cool/ or plain have you lost your !#&3% mind. I have seen these races on the TV and they are a #%%&)(%@! HOOT. Bottom line is it's not all about winning in these things, but that would ad more to the fun.

Partying is definitely a big part of LeMons. At the NJMP race one of the teams hosted a in-pit rave complete with keg, dj, and goofy costumes. Oh and of course Speedycop had the bowling alley there for added entertainment.oldmuscle69 wrote:I think it's all about the Party time
There's rumors of it happening at CMP next month too.
