Unfair Tactics

Post by MikeKelly »

Unfair tactics employed at a "spot landing" contest.

Either that or FAA is testing a new landing beacon system...

Probably has potential for autocross / rallycross, lol.

Appears to be a DeHavilland Otter. Otterwise known originally as the King Beaver. No clue why the name change. Looks like nice example of Beaver on approach to a short grassy landing strip.

On closer inspection, the strut and shape of the tail are more of a Pilatus Porter.

I agree. The airplane not seen in the photo is a Pilatus Porter.
