Anyone from the Asheville area want to do me a favor?

Post by GaryM »

Found this seat on Craigslist. Perfect for my iRacing setup, but too far away. If one of you guys in the area could check it out and bring it to the event this weekend I'd happily feed you beer for your troubles.

Gary, assuming I can get him to respond, do you want me to buy it and bring it to you … or have you made arrangements for payment and just need it transported ?

I would recommend against a fixed back. Looks cool, but....

Reason being I very often use the amount of recline to adjust me seating position based on driver height and horizon height on the monitor so that they match up. Having a reclining seat is just one more adjustment that comes in handy. Also more comfy.

Just my $0.02

This is the same seat that's in the KL contour, it's fairly comfy - too much so for a race car. I'll live with the fixed back.

I haven't talked with the guy since I didn't know if I'd be able to get someone to get it. I can send you money or pay you back if that works for you. Thanks Walter!

sure … I'll try to get him to answer … CL response time can sometimes be a problem … it should fit in the back of the CRX

I've left him a message … now we play wait and see

called him last night … no reply yet … I'll call again today

I'm out of town most of tomorrow, but as needed I'll keep calling and leaving messages … if nothing else, we should be able to get it from him in time for the Mar 9th
