Hi all. My name is Brady and I'm an FNG. I did some google-ing and found the East TN SCCA and I'm excited to be a part of it! I'm planning on attending the autocross this weekend at Pelissippi State.
I'm not a TN native - I'm on a temporary job assignment with TVA. Originally from the DC/Baltimore area. Can't wait to meet some of you this weekend! I'll be driving a charcoal 2012 Mustang GT.
PS....are there usually loaner helmets available?

Welcome Brady! Be sure to find Jim Simmons when you get there. He has a grey Cobra and is the guy that helps FNGs. Oh, and get there by 9am so you can walk the course, a lot.
We have loaner helmets available.
Edit--Gary beat me to it.

it's an old old term … used on a regularly in the service
I used the term one time and someone asked if I'd been in the service … that was what gave it away
