Grid/Paddock/Parking @ Pellissippi

Post by thrdeye »

Hello,

This came up in another discussion, so I made this graphic to show you where to park. We've been getting a lot of cars in the grid area before the first run group goes off and it's causing a log jam in getting grid setup and the first run group into grid. So, unless you are getting tech'd, or in grid ready to run, please make sure your car is in PADDOCK.

There are a few spots near grid that will be available for the event chair and chiefs and Scott Gibson.

Thank you for posting this.

What about the three spots at the bottom of the Grid&Tech area, did you leave them out on purpose?

Yes and no. Can't really grid there since you can't roll through. Seemed like it would crowd and confuse grid to allow any parking there.

Any suggestions?

like you said … can't roll through … as for hurting grid if any cars are there… can't see the problem.

we've actually used those spots as grid spots before … for 2 driver cars when we didn't plan for enough before gridding the one driver cars … all they had to do was back out and turn rt. then left and head for the course
