paint or rust???

What’s the official scoop on autocross cars at national type events? I looked but didn’t see anything about rust buckets like my Tucson Red spotted hood.

I have the stuff to make it white, just don’t have the time. Unless there is a rule about appearance and massive quantities of visible rust that will not allow me to compete, it’s gonna look like crap this weekend.

I think you should sand down the entire car and then store it under water.

Take the hood off and spray white Krylon on it while it is laying in the grass. Nobody said it had to have a nice paint job. Just make it white.
