Great event! I think ETR deserves another collective pat on the back for how smoothly things ran from start to finish. I don't like the lot quite as much as Pelli, but it was still a lot of fun.
John Brown wrote:The salom was the same distance as almost every salom at Pilli.. 20-21 paces. The finish was hard because the pavement had a 2 ft elevation drop between the 3rd and 4th cone.. you had to lift after #2 then.. WOT to the finish.
That makes a lot of sense...I really struggled there today.

I admit to being a little bummed about not taking the class win, but I think this is my first legitimate (didn't rain out 1st run group) top 10 raw time. :pirate: Kudos to the Pembertons!

Another FUN event thanks to all ETR staff and members for a well run event for a great cause. This was my first experience with Chilhowie Park....I had a great time both days. The course was challenging for me both days. Had a good turn out in F Street. I even got my first tee shirt. I also bought one Saturday for the charity...I'll give it to my better half. The season is getting near the end and I'm not looking forward to it :( ........ I'm hooked :lol2:

Dad and I had an awesome time this weekend, but I am worn out!
I enjoyed the course both days, if you drove the correct line it really payed off. Working course before running really helped me ID the right vs wrong way to do it.
Thanks for arrainging run groups so Dad and I could run together. He improved a lot, but was 1/2 second away from Jim in the red Z06 in A-Street. I really need to get him in your school and an EVO school soon. I'm running out of advice for him.
The ETR Pro class is TIGHT and I love the challenge of running with you all. I would've like to grab 3rd spot, but I left a little too much out there on day 2 to get it done. Glad I didn't end up DFL at least.

I wouldn't want to run there every event, but I really like that site for a special occasion.

Love the event, but hate the lot and would love to see it moved to smokies or pelli. The zoo lot leaves no room for error going down the hill or back up it and every thing has to be choked down from a course stand point so no one gets too fast. If pelli speeds were obtained on this lot we would have had some paper work to fill out!

I am not fond of smokies, but it is better than the zoo. The sunday course at smokies was a very fun course and really about all we could do there is run it one way and then set it up backwards or we have a 25-29 second course with any other course.

I guess I need to look at the Smokies surface. It broke a lot of cars last time I ran there years ago.
