If you haven't been to a National Tour OR if you haven't ran one at a HUGE site with grippy concrete....here is your chance to do it in a "low key" post nationals environment.
Of all the National Events I have attended.....Blytheville is BY FAR my favorite place to go. It's s short 5 hour drive and the town absolutely LOVES us there.
Here is a picture that will put the size of this lot in perspective
The red outline is the space we were allowed to use for the Pro Solo this year.
The Yellow Outline is the Cleveland Jetport
The Blue outline is ETR's Pellissippi site
and the Green Outline is there for those of you who have been to the Dixie tour.
As you can see this place is HUUUUUGGGGGEEEE and flat concrete.
The event currently only has 30 people registered. If you have ever thought about going to a National Event but were worried about the SRZBZNZ attitude....this is your chance to do it.
Get registered.....dont worry about the weather....I have a enclosed trailer with heat, AC and a 42" TV.....we will have fun no matter what.

It was a long shot (whew caught that autocorrect "i" correction on that one) I could make it, but now that I bruised some ribs n muscles I am 100% not able to make it. I need to work on the "seemed like a good idea at the time"

Event cancelled due to low entry. That'll teach me to make non-refundable motel reservations. At least it was only two nights in a cheap motel.

This is bullshit!! How in the hell can't there be ~120 people who want to autocross on a good site, good town and the nicest autumn weather.

I blame it on SCCA for killing the 195

I feel like it was pretty badly mismanaged. They changed the date pretty late in the game without much advertisement. They didn't change when the late fee went into effect and then they cancelled the event without any real push for getting people registered.

SCCA management of this sucked. B.S. date change, for no apparent reason and no announcement.
