Anyone want a co-driver for Sunday Oct 12?

Post by steverife »

I'm out of tire for the CRX.

Not really picky. I'll pay entry fee or whatever expense is reasonable.

The Miata is open if you don't find something else you want to try, and it doesn't shit the bed on me. We can even take the top off if you are so inclined.

Assuming the car gets fixed, you could drive my Mustang. I should know for sure by Wednesday PM.

You can drive our car, if you want, but if it looks like a rainy day, I'm out...

You can drive the Fucus if you want. It's got a light STF prep. Loose in the rain.

I liked autocrossing Aaron's SVT and the non-SVT is probably a better autocross car due to the torque curve and less weight.

I'm sure the Focus would be fun. If the right car fell in my lap for STF, I wouldn't cross it off the list just due to cost and practicality.

My car will be fixed Thursday. It took a little longer than expected to get the parts, once I found a Ford dealer that would actually order them. Unfortunately, it isn't covered by warranty. If I had known that two weeks ago, I would have started my ESP conversion by installing a Torsen T2R LSD at the same time the rear seals were replaced and I wouldn't have done it at a dealer.

I'm going to attach a shopping cart to the front of my car.I think the extra wheels will help out in the rain.poss could give a bit more grip if I get a newer cart.Sort of like the old six wheel F 1 car. I'll put a pillow in it for you and toss in an umbrella in case you need to bale out.
