The precip is supposed to happen later in the day Sunday. My source also says a high of 47°.

OK here we go I watched the news on 10 and Todd said the weather will be like our last event. No rain until we are gone. The morning will be in the 30 degree range and warmer from there up to 50 deg or so. Pretty much like our last event. I had fun at the last event as well as the rest of us that were there.Yeah it was a chilly setup but then ya got to think of the fun we had.This our last event of the YEAR!!!! So Lets make it a good one.Poss last time we see 50 deg on a Sunday.I would like to have a good turn out on this last event.----------- can we make it like a toy for Xmas and get 10.00 off entry if we bring a $10.00 toy to donate? Sorry for so late asking. If the toy thing is to late to ask then that is ok.

Welp, right now we're missing about 6 chiefs and only have a handful registered. So, no matter the weather, that will not fly.

I will not make it decided I would be busy going to Cuthroat Shamrock Concert Saturday Night Downtown Knoxville. I have enjoyed the season. Thanks to all.

Due to low turn out and bad weather we are cancelling the event this Sunday. We hope to have next years schedule ironed out at our meeting this Sunday. Sorry for the late notice on Sundays event and look forward to seeing every one at the awards banquet.

Event is cancelled. Only 17 people registered.

Registered, but then noticed the cancellation! What a bummer! Can't we just have small run groups and just have some fun! bragging rights only, no trophies?

Also, was there going to be a make up for the race that got cancelled due to construction?

This was the make up event and the event needed about 35-40 to safely run and we were no where close to that number and with rain for the most part all day and cold we called it off. These responses will help us to decide if we run 10 events or 11 or 12 events next year.

Low turnout is one thing, bad weather another, but with these two things combined, it would make for a really lousy day. Especially for the core workers.
