Lincoln Nats/ ETR tent

Post by jcox07 »

I have contacted Brian Harmer about etr region getting a tent for the national finals. They only offer 9 tents for rent, so I got us a 20x30 unless I was too late on requesting a tent. So if you plan on going to nationals and would like a good place to get in out of the sun/rain if it rains, we need every one that is going to chip in on this rental, it would be a good place to pull your car under if you have to work on it also so you don't have to lay down on hot concrete. Thanks JY

Randall told me $500 for the small one and $700 for the big one. Whatever that means.

I don't think I'd want to put in much, given that I probably spent about an hour total in paddock last year and will probably do things pretty similar this year.

Not to be a cheap ass, but the setup we had at SGMP was pretty large and provided all of the necessities. We also have a club 12x12 EZ-up that I'm sure we could take.

That said, I'd chip in $50 (five-zero) for ye old circus tent.

Yea the ez up that JB has needs a new top and some connecting parts, but last year I had everything I could take with no room for any thing more and I am not sure I will have room this year for any ez ups.

Only other problem is the wind out there the one that we rent will be no problem with the wind, but we had to grab the ez up last year many times to keep it from blowing away.

Yeah, the wind from the big storm that blew through broke my brand new ez-up heavy duty frame. The big tents are a great solution for that problem. That said, I won't be coming this year.
