You guys are nuts for picking the Bowling Green over Blytheville. BG is a very good local site, Blytheville is a truly national site, with some of the fastest speeds in solo.

I was on my way home from getting the car serviced today and thought to myself " I'm putting this offer out for the extra bed but I never made it known to any takers I need to wear a CPAP machine because I snore really bad".....and I won't be taking it with me  ...I've got NO PROBLEM with the Dairy Queen I'd want to stop as well. I'm going to try to make the Pro at Wilmington end of May? Think they have one in August too...It's an easy choice for me.

200 miles to Bowling Green
300 miles to Wilmington
400 miles to Blytheville

I'd need too stop too many times for my DQ going to Blytheville :eating: :lol2:

I have to go to the one that has a class so I can try and win tires. It is not about liking one more than the other, it is about winning 2 or 3 hoosiers and I don't think ESP will make a class at Blytheville this year.

I don't disagree with this, but saying NCM and the Match Tour "sucks" is a little harsh, in my opinion. It's a good opportunity for newer folks to try national stuff. Learning "how to national" at a pro solo can be a little overwhelming.

My "it sucks" was in reference to the fact that people have to choose between the two and both events will suffer.

I agree Steve, I want to do both but that won't happen on the same weekend.

Yeah, I'm not saying Match Tour format or NCM site sucks. If it wasn't for Blytheville Prosolo that weekend, I would be at BG. IMO ProSolo at a big site is just so much more exciting. And any national newbies from our region could get all the event pointers and help from me* or other ETR people at that event. Honestly, I find Prosolo little overwhelming at times myself, but it's all part of the format.

* - At my last Prosolo, I finished 14th out of 15 in my class, so the "help" is maybe to strong of a word

Im just the opposite these days.. I liked Pros.. but I much prefer Match Tours or National Tours. Pros are too hard on equip and tires.. Street Tires are just too hard to come by and cost too much.. You HooHoo guys just wouldn't understand.

Slowly the entries are joining...up to 61 with a month left to register. The 100 number needed looking better.

I know myself, James, JB, Lin, Marcus have still got to sign up also I think Bucky is going to go with his little spoon as his co-driver, so that is at least 6 more from etr.

I'm not a huge pro solo guy, though I like them better than a math tour. I just love Blytheville and would rather run that surface and that site over a site that I can run for a local event....especially now that I got my work stuff rescheduled and can take off Friday.

no doubt I'd be going to blytheville if i wasn't getting back from jamaica that friday night. But I think our average ETR members are more likely to go to NCM

For first time national event attendees I agree with Chris, it's closer and cheaper and less hectic for someone going to their first National event to do a match tour rather than a pro. I like them all but prefer the more laid back atmosphere of a champ or match tour.
