I had fun following. I wish I was there. Our club is really fast.

Also, I watched the ES winner's vids on Youtube this morning. Totally flat and on the limiter through the entire finish slalom on the right.

definitely ... a Miata course! HAHA! (seriously) WFO!

My weekend was consistently Highs..and Lows. Cones, weather, 1 Red Light.. for lows. Being 31st out of 32 to make the Pro Challenge and making it to 3rd Place, taking out the STS class winner heads up... AFTER HITTING A CONE! wtf??? lol!
And had to fulfill my promise of taking out the guy that took Pilson out. I hardly even think about the .498 RL that took me out of 1st or 2nd place.. I was having TOO MUCH FUN!
good times!

I hadn't done a pro since 2010 and hadn't been serious about one since 2008. Needless to say, I was a little rusty. Between that and the roughly 75' slalom (30 paces for me), I definitely had my hands full, regardless of the competition. With a little coaching here and there, I was able to put a couple of runs together on Sunday and have a lot of fun doing it! Pro Solo is my favorite format. I love the Christmas tree start and knowing you have a competitor right next to you.

My favorite run was running against Randall driving Eric's Miata. I couldn't look over to see him but as we came to the sweeper turning away from each other, I was foot to the floor and I could hear the Miata screaming right next to me. What a blast! I definitely recommend Pros to anyone wanting something a little different.

My most rewarding run... was going heads up against STS class winner... and on my first pass.. I hit a cone !! At stage I heard his crew tell him.. "don't worry, YOU GOT THIS! .. he hit a cone."
I thought... muahfugger... your gonna work for it anyway... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. I went out, made a break out run.. and I remember thinking.. "I didn't hear him beside me at the start" hmmmmm. I guess he slowed down so much... I beat him!! LOL! number one rule in Pro Solo.. DONT EVER GIVE UP!! anything can happen. :)

I also had a great time and it was 30 pace slaloms on my count as well and I had a good first day but I think my someone else drove for me on day 2 ....lol as I didn't drive very well on Sunday. I also saw something that was truly amazing during the super shootout as JB hit a cone on his first run on the left side and was 1.3 seconds behind when a certain lady told his competitor you have it won so take it easy and easy he took it and JB $hit stomped through the right side and won. Pros are fun but it is boom boom bam, everything is very fast. Don't let any one fool you, we are very serious when it comes to locals, but at national events we jump in there and help each other and pull for each other like you would not believe. ETR has the best bunch of racers in any region.

Yep. He had .700 advantage after first run, so with the cone, he took a 1.3 second penalty.

JB made up .500 at the launch. His opponent cut a 1.1 second light.

Then he made up the other .700 on course.

It was pretty awesome.

JB, you have to be there early to do practice starts...lol and remember you didn't do any at wilmington and dang near won it all and should have, but wait you did red light so maybe we need to leave early to get there so we all can do some practice starts. You had 4 tickets right, that means one for each of us you, Harp, Pilson and me.....
