JY finished second to Jadrice in JY's car. I don't think that's a surprise. Jadrice has won a National Championship in ESP and is practically an alien driver.

Steven Rife finished fourth in ES and Kevin Lindley was eleventh. That's not too shabby for his first National Tour event.

John Brown won STS by over a second and was 29th overall on PAX. Congratulations. Kumho must love you.

Steven Rife was only 0.084 seconds behind JB on day 2 PAX.

I hate to say this where JB will read it, but based on this one event it appears the sts pax is too tough.

Got in last night after 10:30....

75 construction and people down that away that are causing accidents... That's a sucky drive in a manual.

I'm not at all disappointed in my finish. After watching Sam in AS come witin .5 of the fastest SSP time.. that made my times look bad. Lol

That was probably the most fun weekend autocrossing that I've had in a long time. The car is really good. I just need to get there.

Congrats tip all the etr family who came out and drove well. We had a great number of wins and trophies for the region.
Thanks to Jeff and Linn for the awesome base camp and for setting up nice rooms for us.

Lets leave my Pax out of this.. lol

From my perspective... my Pax is clearly near spot on. I wasn't pushed too much, and I only run as hard as needed.

I wanted a second cushion Sat..(check)
I didn't want to let Harp beat me overall Pax (check) lol
I didn't want to show off Sunday and put even more time on the rest of the STS field(check) Till Chitt out out timed me.
Time to speed up (check)!

Don't poke the Bear... not often I don't have some reserve.

Rife is only close to my Pax for one reason... He drove a good game! That's his car,and he needs to take time in it to perfect the details.

I was worried after watching Harps video before I ran ..doubting that I could out do it. That was some spot on wheeling Harp!!

I had a great time!
and Ill hold my acclaim for Kumho after they show me the MONEY! $600 from Kumho and $300 from Mazda makes for a purty good weekend. 8)

Yesterday also wasn't terribly PAX friendly for a low powered, low grip car. Jonathan Roberts check out on ES and stole a win from 2 of the fastest guys in the class in the country. He was only 24th for the day. We needed a couple more wiggles in the course to help equalize things.

Every year I get excited about going to Dixie... and every year on the return trip, I tell myself that's my last time!

That is HORRIBLE, UN-NEEDED TRAFFIC....... My arrive home time went from 9pm when I left the site.. to getting home at nearly 1045. :(

I'm finding another route if i have to go through ATL somewhere towing. Almost creamed an Altima that cut in front of me as traffic was slowing down. Hopefully BB has extracted the excursion's seat from his ass at this point.

Last year coming home from Dixie, Google Maps put me on a route around Atlanta that saved me a lot of time. But I was on the east side of town. It was also very useful coming back from Sebring last year. You need a data connection to keep traffic reports up to date. Garmin GPS traffic is nearly useless by comparison.

So.. has anyone tried the target sensing Video stuff? Id have liked to seen how bad my car was bouncing thru the exit finish salom yesterday..

And is it legal to use yet? It would have to sit in certain places..

also, I want to know more about the "Masters" Solo deal....

I thought it started at 62-65 years old.. this past weekend they said 52...

Do you have to sign up in a separate class or what? I never seen it listed...

Howard Duncan, SCCA Senior Director of Solo and Rally, said the award will go to drivers, 62 years of age or older, competing in the “unofficial” Master’s Class at 2016 SCCA National Solo events, including Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo, Tire Rack SCCA Solo Championship Tour, Tire Rack SCCA Match Tour and Tire Rack Solo Nationals Presented by Garmin VIRB. The winners at each event will be based on the best index score across all car classes, with a trophy going to the Master’s Open winner and Master’s Ladies winner.
