ok guys I saw that if I sign up for a SCCA membership I get to run one event free. how does that work? would like to sign up to become a SCCA member because my girlfriend wants to run to so the more money we save the better.

Just show your new membership card or the email from SCCA at registration showing you signed up. If you want to use me as a referral, it might save both of us a few bucks.

If your wife is planning on running, you should get a family membership. It's considerably cheaper than two separate memberships (best I remember)
