That's not what I meant.
If you show up, there's a good chance that 3, 4, or 5 people that are registered won't show up, and you'll get their spot. But, you can't take their spot if you're not there.

Hello all, I'm new here and please pardon what may seem like a dumb question but what makes this Tire Rack Thunder Valley Showdown such a huge, awesome, and special event? I see nearly 200 cars entered! Wow, I'm stoked to go see this autocross!
1. Match Tours were not popular at first. Several almost cancel becUse no participation.
2. This is the first national level event in our region
3. An unpopular event type has sold out.
4. We will likely have the largest number of drivers at a match tour ever.
5. Bristol has fresh pavement.
6. Etr people will make sure you have a good time even if you DFL your class

Thanks. I understand it's pretty much full but what's the best way to possibly enter given a few may not show up? I'm looking to enter in the SCCA's new Heritage Classic class if recognized.
Follow the link to registration. You'll be placed on the waitlist, but depending on factors like people's parts and tires coming in on time and the weather forecast, it's likely that a small number will drop out and the waitlisted folks will get in.
