Need CAM class info

Post by Slick68 »

OK, I've searched and came seem to come up with a clarification of the differences in the CAM classes. I see there's T-Traditional, C-Contemporary, and S-Sport. What the differences in the classifications of each?

I'm trying to register for the June 5th event at Bristol. I've never run my truck at an SCCA Solo event, so I'm unsure what to register in.

The vehicle in question is a 68 Chevy C10 truck.

CAM-T depending on if any changes were made to the braking system. ..CAM-C is for newer cars right seems like we were down this road before.

I'm still running lowered stock suspension with factory sway bar and stock style brakes with aggressive Hawk pads. I am running an LS1 engine with 700R4 auto trans.

That's where I was getting confused is if I should be in CAM-T or CAM-S.

Pickups are listed for CAM-C and CAM-S. They are not listed for CAM-T. Since CAM-C is 1990 and on, Mike is right and it's CAM-S.
